In conjunction with the 24th Annual WIN Lecture Series Dinner, WIN is holding a Shoe Drive.

WIN is soliciting donations for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. All donations made to BGCTM on behalf of the WIN Shoe Drive will be used to fund shopping events for children ages 6 to 18 in need of new shoes.

The shoe drive was inspired by the philanthropic efforts of TOMS Shoes, a company founded by Lecture Series Dinner’s keynote speaker, Blake Mycoskie. For every pair of shoes sold, TOMS Shoes gives a pair of shoes to a child in need. With considerable need right here in Northern Nevada, WIN organized the Shoe Drive to give shoes to children in need in our community. This effort compliments the community-minded nature of the dinner’s presenting sponsor Q&D Construction.
